How do I know if any of your products cause sensitivity?
All our products are naturally formulated using 100% natural ingredients. However, even the mildest natural ingredients can cause sensitisation in certain people. We recommend using a small amount of product for 24 hours to check for any reactions. If you know of an ingredient to which you are particularly allergic, please view the ingredients listing of the product that you may be considering before deciding to make a purchase. If you have any particular skin sensitivities or medical concerns, we do always recommend checking with your doctor.
Are your products cosmetically tested?
Our skincare has been independently tested and approved. Our Baby Range has been approved for use from birth and is free from fragrance and essential oils. Our skincare is developed for the most stressed, sensitive skin.
Can your skincare be used on African race individuals?
Yes. Our skincare is suitable for all races of skin.
What do you recommend from your range for treating eczema?
Our products have been formulated with delicate, sensitive skin in mind. Our Baby Range helps soothe, heal and protect skin. We have had fabulous feedback from parents in relation to our Baby Range. Our Baby Skincare Bundle is a perfect way for parents to adopt a simple, natural skincare routine. If you have any particular skin sensitivities or medical concerns, we do always recommend checking with your doctor.
Are any of your ranges suitable for rosacea or psoriasis?
We would recommend our Baby Range for this with sensitive, stressed skin. It is fragrance fragrance free.. The Baby Soap is gentle and the Baby Balm is pure and soothing with anti-inflammatory properties too. The Baby Nourishing Oil is also perfect if you wear makeup as this combination of plant oils is soothing and great for removing cosmetics. If you have any particular skin sensitivities or medical concerns, we do always recommend checking with your doctor.
Are any of your products tested on animals?
No. None of our products or ingredients are tested on animals. All our products are vegan and cruelty-free.
Why have my balms become very soft?
Our Baby Balm and Mum Hand Balm may soften or liquify slightly in warmer months due to the natural ingredients used. This is completely normal and does not affect the products’ effectiveness or performance.
Baby Range
What can your Baby Balm be used for?
Our Baby Balm is an excellent general barrier balm and can be used by all the family, as it is un-fragranced and free from harsh chemicals. We have fabulous feedback in relation to helping it helping relief skin irritations such as eczema, cradle cap, teething rash, grazes, dry skin and lips and can even be used as an aftersun. Are all the products in the Baby Range suitable for newborns?
Yes. Our Baby Range is fragrance free and has been approved to use birth. Should you however have any concerns we recommend that you speak to your midwife, health visitor or G.P.
Mum Range
Is your Stretch Mark Oil safe to use during pregnancy?
Yes. Our Stretch Mark Oil is a light, fast absorbing oil that can be used during pregnancy for massage, relief from tight skin and helps to reduce the appearance of stretch marks before, during and after pregnancy. Our unique formula helps keep skin moisturised and supple while promoting skin elasticity.
Is your Mum Soap only suitable for using on hands?
No. Our Mum Soap makes an excellent hand and body wash. Please remember to avoid getting into eyes.
